The apartment is available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, you must leave the accommodation by 10 am.

General policy

House rules:
Dear guests, we hope you enjoy your stay at our accommodation! We do our best to ensure that you have a relaxing stay. If, despite our best efforts, you notice any disturbance that you are not happy with, please do not hesitate to contact us. In order to maintain the condition, tidiness and cleanliness of the accommodation and furnishings, please refrain from any activity that you would not do in your own home.

Check-in / Check-out:
Accommodation is available from 15.00 on the day of arrival until 10.00 on the day of departure. Earlier check-in or to stay longer on the day of departure requires prior arrangement.

Prior to check-in, you must provide the necessary registration details, which will be verified by our staff on the basis of your documents.

The accommodation is only available to the number of guests agreed in advance, which can be checked by the accommodation provider without prior notice. Guests are welcome during the day, but only the registered guests are allowed to stay overnight.

Payment:
Payment of the accommodation fee and tourist tax is made as indicated at the time of booking, via the booking website or on the spot.

Parking:
Please keep your car in the parking lot in front of the building.

Parking in the courtyard requires prior arrangement. No major repairs or maintenance may be carried out on the vehicle in the courtyard. Minor repairs and maintenance are permitted as long as the cleanliness of the area is not compromised.

Smoking:
Smoking and use of open flame inside the building is strictly FORBIDDEN! Smoking is only allowed in designated outside areas! In order to maintain cleanliness, we kindly ask our guests who smoke to collect cigarette butts and place them in the containers or bins.

Use of rooms, furnishings:
Please use the furnishings as intended. The equipment and furnishings of the rooms, including towels, blankets, bed linen, etc. are not allowed to be taken out of the house.

The condition of the rooms will be checked when you leave, and any damages will be asked to be reimbursed.

No flammable materials, transport equipment (bicycles, motorbikes, etc.) may be brought into the rooms.

When leaving the room, please turn off the air conditioner, the lights and the taps.

If you notice any malfunction, please report it to us immediately! Especially breakdowns requiring urgent intervention - burst pipes, leaking water, power cuts, etc. Thank you in advance!

Guests are obliged to report the loss of the keys immediately and to reimburse any costs incurred (door unlocking, lock replacement, etc.)

Cleaning:
The rooms will be cleaned and tidied before check-in, if there is a problem with the cleanliness of the rooms, please let us know immediately. Separately, we can organise extra cleaning during your stay on request and by prior arrangement. For stays longer than one week, one cleaning and change of bed linen per week will be provided, also subject to prior arrangement.

Waste and Recycling:
Household waste can be collected in the provided bins in the kitchen and in the bathroom. If necessary, large bins are located in the courtyard by the back gate.

Recycling: paper and recyclable plastic and packaging material are collected separately, the separate collection point is located at the bottom of the staircase – inside the building of the staircase.

Please DO NOT put glassware in the recycling bin, it is an accident hazard! Unfortunately, our village does not collect glassware separately, some glasses can be returned to shops, the rest should be put in the household waste bin.

Other:
Irons and ironing boards are available on request, please contact us in advance.

We can provide baby cots and highchairs for guests with small children, please contact us in advance.

The apartments have a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare simple meals. Please do not put anything containing metal in the microwave oven!

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. The yard and the fence are also not suitable for pets.

Valuables left in the room will be kept for 2 months and will be posted to the address provided if notified within the time limit.

To ensure the peace and quiet of our guests and neighbours, no excessive noise or laud music is permitted between 22.00 and 08.00.

If legal action is taken against the accommodation provider because of non-compliance with the law, the offender must pay the costs. This action may lead to a denunciation and other proceedings.

Please note that the accommodation provider cannot be held liable and cannot pay compensation for damage caused by events beyond its control (e.g. natural disasters, hail, fire, power cuts, damage to parking spaces, etc.).

The host reserves the right not to accept or to immediately remove from the accommodation any guest who misbehaves or does not respect the rules of the house.

Balatonakarattya and Lake Balaton have many attractions and recreational opportunities, which we would like to introduce below.

Balatonakarattya attractions:
Highlights include the Balatonakarattya Magaspart (Kisfaludy sétány), a panoramic walk, one of the most beautiful and natural lookout points in the eastern basin of Lake Balaton. Here you can enjoy the panorama, the sunrise or the sunset. It can be reached from the Rákóczi Square and Park, which is located next to the main road 71 and is a beautiful sight in itself. Here you can also go to the Italian restaurant Spoon II Mercato for a taste of authentic Italian cuisine, or to the Mexican eatery Sombreros, or for a coffee at Rusty Box with a panoramic view from the café.

Balatonakarattya shops, restaurants:
Hencz Confectionery is located in our building, with excellent home-style flavours. A couple of steps away you find Szépkilátás Restaurant.

Within walking distance is a large car park with local shops, restaurants (seasonal opening) and an ice-cream heaven with a large selection of delicious flavours.

Shopping facilities are also available at the Family ABC, open every day all year at 95 Rákóczi Street, where not only groceries but also tobacco, lottery and postal services are available.

Spoon II Mercato Italian restaurant and Sombreros Mexican eatery are located next to the Rákóczi Square park.

On the Bercsényi Beach you can find Tengósok Kikötője restaurant which is open all year round.

Beach facilities:
Of course, there are many beaching options to choose from.

While the northern shore of the lake has a faster deepening beach, the southern shore is shallower and slower deepening. There are several popular and internationally renowned beaches, several of which have been awarded the Blue Flag.

Balatonakarattya has four beaches to choose from: Bezerédj, Lidó, Bercsényi and the Gumirádli (free) - the whole family can enjoy the water and the services of the kiosks.

Both Peter's Balaton and Nekem a Balaton are venues in the close proximity of our accommodation - both places offer a variety of concerts and evening activities during the summer.

Sports:
For those looking for active recreation, bicycles can be hired from the Csöpi roundabout. The Balaton Bike Trail passes by the house and the Balaton-Budapest Bike Trail starts 100m away.

Around Lake Balaton:
If you are going to explore Lake Balaton by car, you have a great choice of options.

The northern shore of Lake Balaton is notable for its folklore and natural heritage, with historic settlements rich in monuments (e.g. Tihany, Keszthely), special natural sites (Tapolca Lake Cave, Folly Arboretum), romantic castles and castle ruins (Nagyvázsony, Szigliget).

One of the most important settlements on the northern shore is Tihany, known mainly for its 1000+ yrs old abbey church, which is located on the Tihany peninsula.

The Valley of Arts (Művészetek Völgye) is an internationally renowned arts festival, which takes place every year for a week at the end of July and beginning of August, attracts many tourists.

But it's not just bathing enthusiasts who will find something to suit them, there are also many other activities around the lake. Wellness spas, cruises, adventure parks (including in Zanka, Zamardi, Balatonfüred) and nature walks are just some of the activities that await tourists at Lake Balaton.

In the months of August, wine festivals are organised in several places, where wine lovers can taste the wines of local producers, accompanied by pleasant concerts and events.

Siófok and Balatonfüred are the most popular for nightlife lovers, but there are many places around the lake where you can enjoy yourself while admiring the night lights of the shore beyond. 

Adventure parks:
Adventure lovers can also choose from a range of great options:

- There are bobsleigh tracks and adventure parks in Balatonfűzfő and Balatonboglár.

- Zamárdi adventure park

- Adventure Island Tihany

- Siófok Adventure Park

Zoos:
In Veszprém, the Kittenberg Kálmán Botanical and Wildlife Park is an unmissable all-day programme, and in Siófok, the Bella Zoo.

Veszprém, the county capital, the City of Queens:

It is worth mentioning Veszprém, the capital of Veszprém County, which is the intellectual and cultural centre of the region and a popular tourist destination.  The main attractions of Veszprém are the Castle, the Archbishop's Palace, the Salesians' Church, the Basilica, the collection named after Queen Gizella and the Piarist Church, all of which are located on the castle hill.

One of the city's landmarks is the St. Stephen's Viaduct, which spans over the Fejes Valley, underneath the Kálmán Kittenberg Botanical and Wildlife Park.
