Pet policy
Pets are welcome in the bar until 22.00 hours, then at our discretion thereafter. No pets except guide/assistance dogs (from a recognised accredited organisation) are allowed in the hotel rooms. Please let us know you will be bringing a (ADI or IGDF) guide/assistance dog so we can provide a suitable room.
Group Policy
Groups: Groups of two or more rooms are subject to a cancellation fee of a minimum 10% of the full rate for each room. A maximum of five rooms may be booked at any one time. If more rooms are needed please contact our team by phone. Our policy is to refuse stag and hen parties regardless of sexual orientation/gender. If groups ignore this and are then found to be part of a hen/stag party, we will in all probabilty cancel their booking (even on arrival). Should we be obliged to cancel a booking in these circumstances less than 48 hours prior to arrival, we will apply a cancellation fee equal to at least the first nights stay. Other groups at management discretion so please contact us for more information.
General policy

Payment Policy: For your security, upon check-in we reserve the right to request valid photo ID (for example a passport, driving license or national I.D. card) and the payment card used to make the reservation, unless the guest will be paying with a different card. The card holder must be present. Cash is also acceptable though we reserve the right to hold a minimum £100 deposit or pre-authorise a payment card.  If a guest is unable to provide the required documentation the booking will be cancelled in line with our cancellation policy.

Payment Policy for Pride, Christmas & New Year:
These bookings can only be secured with a min 10% deposit.  Rooms must be cancelled no less than 14 days before your stay is due to commence otherwise we reserve he right to charge 100% of our full tariff on every room booked. Full Payment for Pride will be required at least 14 days prior to arrival - The Hotel will contact your accordingly. 

Promotional codes: From time to time we send out promotional codes, these codes cannot be used in conjunction with some web only discounted rates. 

Room notes: Whilst certain views and room designs/configurations may be shown in photos these cannot be guaranteed. Room sizes are approximate and may differ from room to room. Toiletries, decor, soft furnishings and facilities may be changed without prior notice. Any changes will usually be for a similar or higher-grade product. Rooms available on our website may not use the same standardised categories as external online travel agency websites;  this means we can offer a larger selection of rooms. 

Rooms rates: We usually charge similar or lower rates than other websites; we also offer rate matching on most of our room types. For further Terms & Conditions see hotel website.

Booking changes: All travellers whether UK or International are strongly recommended to take out travel insurance. Where this is not possible we may allow changes to a direct bookings in certain unforeseen circumstances.  However this is a non-binding and in most circumstances we will charge a fee at least equivalent to the cost of the first night.  We cannot make this offer available for third party bookings due to complicated nature of these bookings.

Bookings and cancellation: By making a booking you are entering into a legal contract. However, we appreciate that circumstances may arise causing cancellation or curtailment of a booking. If you wish to cancel or change your booking, you must do so by telephoning the hotel no less than 48 hours before your stay is due to commence (excluding Pride, Christmas, New Year and major conference events see below). No shows and bookings cancelled less than 48 hours prior to arrival will become payable in full.  All ‘Advanced Purchase’ and ‘Pay and Save’ bookings are non-refundable.  For bookings made within 48 hours of arrival, it follows that the full amount will be due.  We are unable to refund breakfasts paid for in advance.  Room allocations are only ever provisional, on a best endeavours basis and therefore subject to change.  On arrival the guest must complete the registration card fully, so that we have a contact address. telephone number and email, in case of emergency.  If a guest refuses to provide this information we reserve the right to deny the accommodation but will still charge in line with our T&Cs.   NB: It is the responsibility of the guest to request the return of any cash security deposit on departure.  After three months any unclaimed funds will revert to the hotel
