General policy

HOUSE RULES

1.       You can check in anytime between 15:00-20:00. We can wait for you if you let us know of your late arrival, in time.

2.       All of our guests has to show his/her valid identity card or passport at check in. We are obligated by law to scan your document. If you refuse to show it, you need to leave the hostel. Thank you for your cooperation.

3.       People under 18 years is allowed to stay with adults only.

4.       The total balance must be paid in cash (EUR/HUF) or with credit card upon arrival and in advance by bank transfer.  No loan! No exchange! No refund!

5.       In all cases our prices are specified in EUR in the case of payment in HUF, we can accept the payment at the current exchange rate indicated at the reception. It is not possible to exchange currency or return it in forints!

6.       The check out time is 10:30. Please leave your keys at the reception’s desk before you leave. If you lose your key you need to pay 3 €. Nothing can be left in the locker or in the room! After checking out, you can only stay in the hostel with the permission of the receptionist and you will no longer be able to use the restrooms.

7.       If you’d like to extend your stay, please let us know until 10:30 and pay for your stay on the morning. Intentional avoidance of payment will result in an automatic ban.

8.       Smoking is not allowed in the hostel, only at the designated area at the terrace (5 meters from the entrances). Violators are subject to pay 100€ penalty.

9.       Eating, drinking is forbidden in the dorms, private rooms and in the Xbox corner. Please have your meals and fill your cigarettes in the kitchen/terrace.

10.    Making love is only acceptable in private rooms nor is individual pleasure-seeking acceptable in shared dormitories. It is also strictly forbidden to be in underwear or naked in the dormitories. Top and bottom clothing is mandatory.

11.    We ask our guests to use the terrace through the kitchen during the wintertime.

12.    It is only possible to stay at the reception during check-out and check-in and when making purchases. We cannot serve during shift changes, at the opening of the day or after the end of the shift!

13.    Sleeping in the kitchen or at the terrace between 20:00-08:00 is forbidden. Please always sleep on your given bed. If you use another bed, you need to pay 10 € penalty. Changing between beds, moving to another bed independently is strictly prohibited! If you want another bed, ask about your options at the reception.

14.    If you do anything that requires extra cleaning service you  need to pay 50€.

15.    After 22:00 please put your phone on silent mode and be as quiet as possible, do not disturb other guests! Please always use headphones during activities involving sound.

16.    Please respect each other. If guests can’t talk over their conflicts with each other, all the participants have to leave for the peaceful atmosphere of the hostel.

17.    The receptionist is an employee of the hostel, neither getting personal nor courting is accepted.

18.    The store at the reception is not self-service. Please if you need anything, ask the receptionist under his/her working hours.

19.    You can leave your luggages in the common area and come back for it until 20:00 the same day. Please note we take NO responsibility for anything left in the room or in the common area after the check-out.

20.    Drug consumption of any kind will immediately result a ban and a police report. Alcohol is tolerated at a healthy level. If the guest is drunk  or makes others tense, he must leave.

21.    Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy is in the interest of all of us. Please wash the dishes after yourself. Do not leave food residue in used dishes. Food left in the kitchen can be thrown away by the staff at any time. Please, if you have finished your meal, store the food in a suitable plastic container and label it in the refrigerator. Do not leave any oil in the pans or pots, as other guests will also want to use the tools. The oil collector is located under the kitchen faucet.

22.    The washing machine and dryer can only be operated by the staff. If you want to do laundry, ask the receptionist for help.

23.    The cat (Lili) is not allowed to sleep in the rooms and please do not feed her!

24.    Please take care of the electronic equipments, furniture and decoration. You are responsible for any property damage you cause and you will be fined with the amount of the repair or replacement.

25.    Playing with the Xbox requires a deposit, which is 20€/controller. You can play (not disturbing others) while the reception is open.

26.    We welcome the friends of our guests in our common room/terrace until 20:00 if they show valid ID/passport.

27.    The store at the reception is not self-service. Please if you need anything, ask the receptionist under his/her working hours.

28.    Only the staff can enter the storage, and can use the cabinets on the corridor. Please don't take toilet paper or cleaning supplies without asking. Whatever you need, we are at your disposal.

29.    The hostel is not responsible for any loss or damage to your personal belongings. Please use the lockers in the dormitories. In case of theft we have to call the police.

30.    In the case of longer bookings bed linen is changed every 7 days. If you need before, it is possible. Please ask the receptionist.

31.    In the case of a group reservation, the deposit is HUF 30,000, which is returned if everything remains intact until check-out.

32.    In case of violation of any point of the above, the receptionist can ask you to leave at any time, even with the help of the authorities!

33.    After check in you automatically accept our house rules. In case of any violation of the rules the receptionist can ask you to leave, regardless the length of the reservation. Failure to read the House Rules does not exempt you from complying with them.
