Our first apartment was opened on Üllői Road with 4 flats in 2008, located in front of the Museum of Applied Arts. Designer-owner, Attila Pozsonyi, previously worked in a Budapest hostel where he had the opportunity to design a club room with music. This was his first direct connection with the hotel industry. He collected inspiration, experiences and ideas from hostels and hotels in the late 90s when he worked as a DJ and traveled extensively all over the world. The theme of the first apartment was iconic furniture design. This is how Art Deco, Pop Art, Romantic and Diamond apartments were created. Diamond is the smallest “jewellery box”. Its success encouraged the opening of Design Apartment #2 on Váci Street in 2014. It contains 4 flats that are inspired by vehicles. Later it was re-named as Walk Inn Váci 42 due to unification. The initial point of design was a staircase built from skateboards. The apartment designs that followed were the yacht interior, the aeroplane, the motorbike and finally the bicycle. Reception was a sub-way cabin that crowned the whole, unique transportation theme. After tons of new experiences the new Váci Street unit replaced the Üllői Road apartment, and consists of 9 rooms. 10-years experience helped the bicycle-loft-Scandinavian design to be more comfortable and more like a hotel, paying more attention to comfort and high quality in the spirit of cosiness. Now we have 15 apartments in the heart of Budapest, on the most famous boardwalk with reception and hotel services.
