Check-in / Check-out policy

Preferred Check-in 1 pm to 8 pm, by appointment. Earlier or later afternoon frees up afternoon. This is a home, a one man show, I'm often in bed by 930-10 pm! Other check-ins can be discussed. No "self-check-in" for the Schneider Suite and Withington Rooms as sneaking by owner and dog's room is just unavoidably disruptive. If late flight, text on way from airport. Owner will be in best pjs!!! Separate entry Madison Apt best option for later self-check-in. Key(s) distributed at check-in. Changes? .... please give advance notice, well-in-advance! We plan our day around your arrival. Please be respectful and refrain from arriving unannounced, way earler or later than arranged....possible beds not be made, host indisposed or not home, cleaning or repairs going on, etc. (example, guests usually know well before 2pm if they won't be here at 2pm!!)
Check-out by 11:30 am. Changes pending circumstances. Early Departure (as in leaving days early) is a late cancellation, no refunds.

Pet policy

No pets, please. One cat and one 80 lb. rescue dog live here already. Pets kept out of guest rooms. (Madison Apt Suite is separate and pet free.)

Group Policy

Mobile contact info required for additonal guests arriving separately.....a courtesy for planning, safety and emergency. Home and business land lines are not helpful when you are traveling or have an emergency. Thank you.
Must be 21 or older to arrive unaccompanied.

General policy

****A Proof of Covid 19 Vaccination Card is required for all Bookings**** Full room descriptions on web-site and booking site under room. Everyone is politely reminded there is one (1) 80 lb. rescue dog and one (1) cat in the house. The pets are usually part the appeal! I am told by reliable & reasonable sources my home is acceptably "pet odor free". The cleaning crew and I use mix of standard chemical and plant based retail cleaners, bleach in the bathrooms, other sanitizers and occasional air fresheners. Please consider your pet and chemical issues prior to your stay. "Private Home" means I live here; I work here. Nice but not perfect, a work in progress.
