Rooms are available for check-in at 14:00, however, you can leave your luggage at the reception from 10:00. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 10:00 in the morning. If our availability allows, late check-out is possible (see Late Check-out). Please ensure that you check out promptly at 10:00 in the morning to avoid any additional charges of 10,000 HUF per hour started, for the sake of the next guest's uninterrupted rest.

Late Check-out

Please coordinate with our receptionist no later than the day before departure, as late check-out is possible depending on availability. The fee for extension until 12:00 on the day of departure is 10,000 HUF per room.

Dear Guests,

We warmly welcome you to Egerszalók at ChaChaCha House!

We do everything in our power to ensure your stay is pleasant and uninterrupted. To ensure your comfortable stay, please familiarize yourself with our House Rules before using the Guesthouse.

The House Rules apply to all guests staying in the Guesthouse.

Please note that by filling out the registration form and using the Guesthouse, you acknowledge and accept its House Rules, and agree to comply with the provisions therein and take responsibility for any damage caused by non-compliance with the House Rules.

Check-in and Check-out

Rooms are available for check-in at 14:00, however, you can leave your luggage at the reception from 10:00. On the day of departure, the room must be vacated by 10:00 in the morning. If our availability allows, late check-out is possible (see Late Check-out). Please ensure that you check out promptly at 10:00 in the morning to avoid any additional charges of 10,000 HUF per hour started, for the sake of the next guest's uninterrupted rest.

Upon arrival, our guests can request 1 sauna towel per person and 1 bathrobe per person at the reception, which we can replace with dry ones during their stay. Upon check-out, please return the sauna towels and bathrobes to the reception. In case of towel loss, a fee of 10,000 HUF will be charged, and for bathrobe loss, a fee of 15,000 HUF will be charged.

Guests can occupy the house only after paying the full participation fee. If guests decide to terminate their stay earlier, we cannot refund the money. Only registered persons are allowed to stay at the accommodation and on its premises. In Egerszalók, the tourist tax is 500 HUF/person/night for those aged 18 and over, which guests can pay on-site, in cash, in addition to the accommodation fee.

The guesthouse reserves the right to charge the guest's credit card or invoice any outstanding and unpaid services afterwards. In case of leaving without payment, the guesthouse can enforce its claim against the guest both by filing a police report and legally, with the costs borne by the guest.

Upon arrival, guests are required to show their personal documents (passport or identity card, address card) to the owner or their representative for data collection purposes. Data collection involves filling out the registration form accurately and scanning the identification documents of the guest(s). Filling out the registration form is mandatory for each person, either by using the pre-sent form or by filling it out on-site.

For the National Tourism Data Provider Center (NTAK), our guesthouse has an obligation to provide data. The NTAK system is solely for statistical purposes and capable of digitally handling data falling within statistical data sets. It does not accept or store personal data related to guests.

For the Guest Information Closed Database (VIZA), our guesthouse has an obligation to provide data, therefore it is necessary to scan personal documents (identity card, driver's license, or passport) for every individual. The following data will be entered into the VIZA system: surname and first name; place of birth; date of birth; gender; nationality; mother's birth name; identifying information of personal documents; in the case of third-country nationals, the number of the visa or residence permit, the date and place of entry.

By signing the registration form, the guest consents to the service provider handling and archiving their personal data provided during the completion of the registration form for the purpose of concluding or fulfilling the contract, confirming the performance, or for any potential claims within the statute of limitations. Furthermore, by signing the registration form, the guest consents to the service provider handling their personal data for the purpose of fulfilling the obligations specified in the relevant laws until the competent authority can verify the fulfilment of the obligations specified in those laws. The detailed rules for processing the guest's personal data are contained in the current privacy policy of the guesthouse.

Late Check-out

Please coordinate with our receptionist no later than the day before departure, as late check-out is possible depending on availability. The fee for extension until 12:00 on the day of departure is 10,000 HUF per room.

Adult-Friendly Accommodation

Due to the adult-friendly classification of the guesthouse, only guests aged 14 and above are accepted. Persons under this age limit cannot be provided with services at the guesthouse. Guests under 18 years old can only use the services of the guesthouse with parental accompaniment or with written permission from the parent. People under 18 years old are not allowed to consume alcohol on the premises of the guesthouse. The parent or the legally authorized person appointed by them is fully responsible for ensuring compliance with this obligation and its consequences, both legal, moral, and financial, in case of violation.

Access to the House, Rooms

Upon arrival, our guests receive 1 key for access to the house, rooms, and garden. Please return the key upon leaving the house on the day of departure! In case of key loss, a fee of 50,000 HUF per key will be charged, as it requires replacing several custom-made locks. Please lock the house when leaving and during the night.

Camera System

For the safety and security of guests and the property of the guesthouse, a closed-circuit camera system operates within and around the building, continuously recording footage 24 hours a day. The detailed rules regarding the data processing of footage recorded by the system are contained in the current privacy policy of the guesthouse.

Parking

There are 8 private parking spaces available for guests on the property, including 1 accessible parking space. The guesthouse is not liable for any damage to parked cars (weather-related, damage caused by other vehicles, etc.). The guest is directly responsible for any damage caused to another parked car.

WIFI Code
Guests can connect to the WIFI network with a unique password provided by the guesthouse upon arrival. The guesthouse does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted operation and availability of WIFI. The guesthouse is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages caused to the guest's device or its contents during or as a result of using the WIFI service. The guest uses the service at their own risk and responsibility.

Use of Furnishings and Building - Liability

Please use the furnishings and the building for their intended purposes! We do not take responsibility for any accidents due to improper use. The guest causing damage due to improper use, vandalism, or violation of the House Rules is financially liable for the damages.

In case of cancellation of accommodation due to violation of the House Rules, the guest will not receive a refund of the paid fee, regardless of the shortened period. The owner reserves the right to cancel the accommodation if the guest does not comply with the House Rules. In this case, the guest will not be refunded for any remaining days.

Do not remove the interior furnishings and equipment (bed, bedding, mattress, towels, TV, etc.) from the rooms and common areas. Do not leave cushions and other items belonging to outdoor furniture in the garden or on the terrace during rainy weather and at night. Please leave the common areas clean and tidy! Otherwise, an extra cleaning fee will be charged, ranging from 5,000 to 30,000 HUF per occurrence, depending on the extent of the contamination.

We kindly ask our guests not to make loud noises in the garden and the house after 22:00 and to respect others' rest.

Dining

Rooms can only be booked with breakfast included (except when booking the entire house). After breakfast, guests have access to a spacious dining room where 16 people can comfortably sit. The dining room is equipped with a kitchen that guests can use. The kitchen includes a coffee maker, stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, and complete kitchenware. There is an option to rent a gas grill (Weber Spirit E-310 Classic) for occasional use for 10,000 HUF. Cleaning after use is the responsibility of the staff, and the cost is included in the rental fee. Guests can use the fire pit in the garden free of charge, and firewood is provided. After use, please extinguish the embers with water to prevent any potential fire hazards.

Breakfast

Weekdays and weekends: 7:30-10:30

We offer a buffet breakfast with a variety of seasonal options. We strive to accommodate our guests' special requests (such as gluten-free products, takeaway, etc.), but prior arrangement (at least 2 days in advance) is necessary. During and after breakfast, no food or drink may be taken out for later consumption.

Smoking

The rooms, balconies, covered areas, and the entire garden of the guesthouse are non-smoking (including IQOS and electronic cigarettes)! Please consider this so that other guests or those arriving after you can also enjoy their stay. Smoking in the room may trigger the fire alarm, therefore we reserve the right to charge the cost of the firefighters and extra cleaning costs due to smoking. This can amount to more than 10,000 HUF in some cases! Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas!

If the guesthouse is fined by the relevant authority for any illegal behaviour of any guest or other person on the premises of the guesthouse, the guesthouse is entitled to pass on the amount of the fine to the person who exhibited the illegal behaviour, or to demand payment from them.

In case of a contagious disease of the guest, the guesthouse reserves the right to deny accommodation service immediately and without refund or compensation. In this case, the guest must leave the guesthouse with their luggage at their own expense within the time frame specified in the guesthouse's termination notice.

In case of a guest's illness or death, the guesthouse reserves the right to claim reimbursement for its expenses from the guest's relative, heir, or bill payer, including medical and procedural costs, the value of services used prior to the illness/death, and any damages incurred to equipment and furnishings.

First Aid Kit

A limited number of first aid kits are provided for guests at the reception.

Fire Lighting, Fire Safety

In the event of a fire, guests are required to follow the evacuation route marked in the guesthouse and the instructions of firefighters present on the scene. Fire extinguishers are located in the corridors of the guesthouse on each floor. In case of a fire, guests must immediately alert the owner or staff of the guesthouse.

It is prohibited to use irons and other electric appliances not commonly used for travel purposes in the room, excluding laptops, notebooks, tablets, cameras, and camcorders.

Guests may only light fires in the designated fire pit in the guesthouse's garden, intended solely for grilling and cooking purposes. After use, the fire must be thoroughly extinguished with water. Before leaving the fire pit area, please ensure that the fire has indeed been extinguished. Guests may use only firewood, charcoal, and paper provided for use in the fire pit area at their own risk.

Items Not Allowed on the Premises of the Guesthouse

• Items classified as corrosive, flammable substances, or materials by current legislation.

• Items classified as hazardous or explosive by current legislation.

• Particularly expensive, high-value items.

• Fireworks, firecrackers, their components, or ingredients.

• Waste or substances harmful to the environment or health.

• Narcotics, psychotropic substances.

If a guest brings items onto the premises of the guesthouse without the prior written permission of the guesthouse, the guesthouse may remove or have them removed at the guest's expense.

Abnormal Behaviour

To ensure the peace of guests, it is prohibited to engage in loud activities, music playing, noisy or disruptive behaviour, sound effects, television or radio playing at disturbing volume levels after 22:00 on the premises of the guesthouse.

Regardless of the time, all behaviours or actions that disturb the peace, safety, sense of security, or privacy of others, constitute harassment or may be suitable for intimidating others are prohibited on the premises of the guesthouse.

The staff of the guesthouse is authorized to warn disruptive guests. The first warning is free of charge, but for the second and third warnings, the guesthouse may charge an additional fee. After the third warning, the guesthouse is entitled to unilaterally terminate the accommodation contract with immediate effect and immediately evict the guest from the guesthouse without any obligation for reimbursement and/or compensation. The guesthouse disclaims any liability for any harm caused to another guest by the behaviour of the guest.

Privacy Policy

The guesthouse will only provide information about the guest's current, past, or future stays to third parties, including the guest's close relatives, based on the guest's prior written consent. This restriction on information provision does not apply to official requests from authorities. The guest acknowledges that the guesthouse is obliged by law to provide the personal data requested by the requesting authority if the legal conditions are met. The guesthouse cannot raise objections to data provision based on legislation, official, or judicial orders.

Liability of the Guesthouse

The guesthouse is only liable to reimburse damages for cash and valuables if they have been entrusted to the guesthouse for safekeeping and documented it in writing. The guesthouse expressly advises guests to store their cash and valuables in the safe provided in the room. The guest should use the facilities, wellness, and other services of the guesthouse in accordance with their intended purpose, with awareness of their own health, physical, and mental condition. Therefore, the guesthouse excludes liability for damages arising from the improper use or use not in accordance with the guest's actual health, physical, or mental condition. Requesting a wake-up call is at the guest's own risk; while it is a gesture of courtesy from the guesthouse, it is not part of the contractual service. The guesthouse is not liable for damages resulting from the failure to provide a requested wake-up call or delayed wake-up call.

Cleaning

Our rooms are cleaned after every 2 nights of stay. Extra cleaning during your stay can be requested for a fee of 10,000 HUF per occurrence.

Bed Linen Change

For longer stays, our guesthouse changes bed linen after the 6th night, unless otherwise necessary.

Waste Management

The guesthouse is equipped with separate waste bins located under the sink in the dining area. We separate communal waste from selective waste. We kindly ask you to do the same.

Heating

The building's heating and hot water supply are provided by a condensing gas boiler and a wood-burning fireplace in the ground floor communal areas. The fireplace is operated exclusively by our staff. Please do not place anything on top of the fireplace!

Air Conditioning / Temperature Control

In our rooms, you can adjust the room temperature using ceiling fan-coil units. On the wall control panel, during the winter heating season, the room temperature can be set to a maximum of 24°C, and in summer, to a minimum of 21°C. Heating and cooling only function when the windows are closed. During transitional periods, please inquire at the reception to confirm whether the unit is currently in heating or cooling mode.

Air Handling

The guesthouse is equipped with a heat recovery ventilation system, providing guests with fresh, dust-free, and pollen-free air, eliminating or significantly reducing symptoms of pollen allergies. The air handling system helps save significant energy by reducing heat loss from extensive ventilation. Therefore, we ask our guests to ventilate only when necessary.

Wellness - Jacuzzi and Sauna

Our guesthouse offers physical and mental relaxation with a Vitalspa Barbados jacuzzi and a Vitalspa infrared and Finnish combined sauna with salt bricks for our guests. The operation and usage of these facilities are demonstrated upon arrival, and we have also provided a brief demonstration of how to operate the equipment in the building. For environmental reasons, the sauna is not constantly heated; it operates on a self-service basis. Heating the sauna takes approximately 60 minutes.

When using the sauna, please consider the following:

• Using a sauna towel is mandatory at all times!

• Upon arrival, guests can request 1 sauna towel per person and 1 bathrobe per person at the reception, which can be exchanged for dry ones at any time during their stay. Upon checkout, please return the sauna towels and bathrobes to the reception. In case of towel loss, a fee of 10,000 HUF will be charged, and for bathrobe loss, a fee of 15,000 HUF will be charged.

We inform our dear guests that for security reasons, there is a camera system operating in the garden.

Please refrain from using the sauna in the following cases:

• After a heart attack or stroke

• In case of open wounds

• Inflammatory diseases

• Heart disease, high blood pressure

• Respiratory diseases

• After consuming alcoholic beverages

Consumption of alcoholic beverages before and during sauna sessions can have serious health effects. Alcohol consumed during sauna sessions increases the likelihood of sudden drops in blood pressure (which may lead to fainting) and arrhythmias, as well as the risk of overheating (hyperthermia) in the body.

Responsibility regarding the use of the sauna and jacuzzi

The operator is not responsible for any accidents caused by improper use of the sauna and jacuzzi. Medically disabled persons are prohibited from using the sauna and jacuzzi. Everyone can use the sauna solely at their own risk.

Amenities

In the guesthouse, guests will find hairdryers, bathrobes, blankets, towels (separate for the wellness area), bed linen, and other cosmetic products. In each room of our guesthouse, we provide the following toiletries: shower gel and shampoo, liquid soap, body lotion, and a toothbrush holder. The toiletries belong to the high-quality Italian HOBO product line.

TV

In our guesthouse, every room is equipped with a premium package smart TV for the entertainment of our guests.

Minibar

Each room in the guesthouse features a minibar for enhanced comfort, primarily serving as a mini refrigerator for the cooling of our guests' smaller food and drinks. We do not stock the minibar with our own products. On the ground floor of the house, in the kitchen area, there is a larger capacity refrigerator that our guests can also use.

Safe

A combination lock mini-safe is located in the wardrobe of each room. The guesthouse does not assume responsibility for valuables left unattended. If you encounter any difficulties using the safe, please notify us immediately. If the safe is not functioning properly or is misused, the guest is obliged to inform the owner of the guesthouse or its employee without delay. The guest bears responsibility for any damage resulting from the failure to notify or delayed notification.

Lost and Found

Please inquire at the reception for any lost items. If the owner of the items does not claim them within 3 months, we donate them to charity. Food, food-like items, and medications left behind are disposed of by the guesthouse.

Pets

For the preservation of the guesthouse environment and to ensure the comfort of allergic guests, we regret that we cannot accommodate pets on the premises.

Garden

The garden is maintained by the host with great love. Please take care of the plants and garden furniture. Guests have the opportunity to barbecue and grill in the garden. It is possible to rent a gas grill (Weber Spirit E-310 Classic) for an occasional fee of 10,000 HUF. The cleaning after use is the responsibility of the staff, and the cost is included in the rental fee. Guests are welcome to use the fire pit in the garden free of charge, and firewood is provided. After use, please pour water over the embers to prevent any potential fires.

Terrace

Part of the guesthouse is the 40 m2 covered terrace equipped with a bar counter, which can be connected to the dining area by opening a 5 m wide accordion door.

Phone Charger

A limited number of phone chargers are available at the reception. They can be borrowed free of charge. Please indicate your request at the reception.

Sewing Kit

A sewing kit is available at the reception. Please request it from our colleague.

Ironing

In our guesthouse, we provide an iron and ironing board upon request; please ask our staff for assistance.

This House Rules are valid until further notice.

Chachacha House is Egerszalók’s newest accommodation, offering a perfect setting for team-building, friendly gatherings, and family events.
